On HBO’s special Mayweather/Pacquiao: The Legends Speak, boxing commentators spoke with legends from the sport like George Foreman, Lennox Lewis, and Bernard Hopkins to get their take on the highly anticipated matchup. They also talked to fighters Oscar de la Hoya and Shane Mosley, who have gone toe-to-toe with both Mayweather and Pacquiao. While the select group of prizefighters gave the advantage to Floyd Mayweather, all agreed that the showdown will be history making.

VIDEO: El opositor Akinci gana las elecciones en el norte de Chipre

El candidato independiente y prounificador de la isla Mustafa Akinci es el ganador de las elecciones presidenciales celebradas hoy en la autoproclamada República Turca del Norte de Chipre, que solo reconoce Turquía. Akinci obtiene el 60,5 % de los votos. El actual presidente, el nacionalista pro turco Dervis Eroglu, queda en segundo lugar con el 39,5 %. Este resultado abre las puertas a unas esperanzadoras conversaciones entre Grecia y la parte turca para una eventual reunificación de Chipre.

Pero las imágenes que van llegando de las zonas afectadas y las toneladas de escombros que se apilan en las calles avanzan la magnitud de la tragedia El patrimonio cultural y espiritual nepalí también ha sufrido un duro golpe. Numerosos templos y los siete grupos monumentales del valle de Katmandú, reconocidos por la Unesco como Patrimonio de la Humanidad, han sufrido daños. “Una pesadilla previsible” según un grupo de 50 sismólogos que, hace tan solo una semana, se reunió en Katmandú para estudiar cómo preparar a esta ciudad para un terremoto.

Rock and Roll Fans were given a real treat when legends Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers and John Legend all set foot on the same stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Bill Withers was inducted to the Hall of Fame by his longtime friend Stevie Wonder, and it was every bit amazing as you would expect. Then the two took the stage with John Legend and gave the audience a concert to be remembered for ages. The whole performance can be watched on HBO on May 30.
